Going into the new year, I'm almost at the end of promoting this Kyd Kalydoscope launch. It's been weird - I'm old school. I'm  used to releasing albums, then promoting singles. I've released three singles, and they've done pretty well considering no one knows who Kyd Kalydoscope is. But I've been living with these 14 songs for almost two years, honing them, learning how to mix and master better. In January, the album finally comes out everywhere and I've never been more confident in a set of songs. So look for the release in about a month, along with two more videos, one for The Other Half, and one for a sleeper I've been keeping under wraps called "Any Way the Wind Blows."
 

Going forward? Now that I've figured out how to actually record and mix properly, I'll be revisiting some of the songs I released previously under my own name, re-recording, re-mixing, and re-releasing under the Kyd banner. I'm specifically looking at the albums Instead of Wither and Conversations from Room 1170. !170 will be condensed into a single album titled "MIGHTY," and the accompanying book is getting an overhaul as well. So 2021 will be busy. I'm also working from a bank of about 150 songs to find 10-15 that I'll put together as a demo to shop for publishing deals - something I've been meaning to do for some 10 years now.
